The first national corporate track meet was in 1979 in Berkeley, CA. Eventually the meet organized under the United States Corporate Athletic Association (USCAA). The national meets continued through 2014, but were stopped due to a decline in the number of teams participating. Several strong regional meets are in place and the TI Team primarily competes in the very competitive Houston Regional Meet in May and the summer meets in Portland, Maine.
